I discovered qigong 12 years ago on a series of silent meditation Buddhist-style retreat where I grew up in Wales. My plan had been to give my mind a break from the chaos of life and feelings of despair and overwhelm. When I tried qigong for the first time on day one of the first retreat, the feeling of relief was huge. I felt I could finally relax and slow down and the movements felt so freeing and calming. A couple of years later I embarked on a two year qigong teacher training programme with the Shiatsu College in London, and have been teaching ever since, with everyone from marginalised groups through to schools, businesses and the NHS. I also lived in a tea meditation house through lockdown, and now run mindful tea meditation sessions, where participants absorb themselves in this quiet and peaceful ritual to find space, calm and comfort.

Having discovered yoga over 25 years ago, Kate has been sharing this wisdom throughout her adult life, weaving together experience, intuition, and a deep understanding of the body. Her teaching style is beautifully unique — blending slow, nurturing practices with more dynamic movement, including her much-loved Yoga4Runners classes.
Alongside yoga, Kate’s personal growth journey has been shaped by NLP and hypnotherapeutic coaching, training to Master Practitioner level over 10 years ago. This work deeply informs how she supports others, especially those navigating recovery after health trauma. Having experienced this herself three years ago, Kate brings genuine empathy and insight into how PTSD can live in both body and mind.
With retreats on the horizon for 2026 — combining running, yoga, meditation, and meaningful connection of mind, body, and soul — this is definitely a space to watch.
If you’re hosting (or dreaming of hosting) a retreat, offsite, or wellbeing experience rooted in compassion, strength, and holistic healing… Kate brings wisdom, warmth, and lived understanding to the space.

Yoga literally changed my life when I started practicing at a local class in 2013. I had spent years juggling a stressful job and running a family. A friend recommended I try yoga and from my first lesson I was addicted! It soon became a necessity to bring balance to my beautiful, yet crazy world.
I feel incredibly blessed to be sharing my love of yoga with others and I learn every time I step on the mat. I am passionate about working with individuals, exploring what yoga can bring to ‘one’s entire well-being’.
To me yoga is not just about creating postures, it’s about learning and sharing together, finding equilibrium, peace & exploration of the inner self.
‘Thank you for teaching me the most’.

popular series of fun, engaging online nutrition workshops on various health topics.
